{ A Story in Your Home }

Each item in a collection has its own story, it's own memory - the search, the day you bought it, who you were with, the vacation... - Tricia Guild and Elizabeth Wilde
It is part of enjoying what you have...stop, take a look and remember.

As I look around at the little treasures in my home there are many that hold special memories, some are memories of places, but best of all are the things that evoke memories of people. Gifts from friends, things purchased while with friends, hand me downs from special relatives and things inherited, they all add to the sweetness and the melody of my life. In the toughest of times I find the sweetest memory of my past in an old brass lamp that I could barely afford when I purchased it for my first home. We would light it and call it our fireplace. It was just a dream of what we might be able to someday have. So, you see, the story in our home can be of our dreams and what may be in our future.
